LICE SCREENING
Every appointment begins with a screening. Our clinicians will carefully and thoroughly comb through the hair with a nit comb to determine if there is an active lice infestation. If an active case of head lice is confirmed and Full-Service Treatment is the chosen treatment option the screening fee is waived. Because lice spread quickly through a household, it is very important that all family members are checked once an active case has been confirmed.

LICE TREATMENT OPTIONS
FULL-SERVICE TREATMENT
Our most popular and effective treatment option. We use Heated Air Technology to dehydrate lice and eggs. We follow that up with a 30-minute comb-out to remove dead lice and eggs, then apply our Oil Treatment, ensuring you leave the clinic lice free. Full-Service Treatment takes about an hour, dependent on length of hair and severity of infestation.

COMB-OUT TREATMENT
Heated Air treatment is not recommended for children under four or for clients for whom Heated Air is contraindicated. In these cases, we recommend a strand-by-strand traditional comb-out to remove lice and eggs using only non-toxic products. This option requires the following: Purchase of Lice Lessons 1+5+5 Oil Treatment, an oil application at home on days 6 and day 11, and an optional clinic recheck after day 11. We do not offer a 30-day guarantee for this option.
Comb-out Services start at $90 per hour, 1 hour minimum.
DO-IT-YOURSELF LICE REMOVAL
Our most affordable treatment option, Oil Treatment is a silicone oil that’s 99.4% effective at killing live lice. Because Oil Treatment, like any at home treatment, doesn’t kill lice eggs, multiple applications at home are needed over the course of the 10-day hatching cycle for lice eggs. We will provide you with detailed instructions on how to properly apply Oil Treatment and how to perform a comb-out. Since most parents are not experienced at lice-removal, to ensure all the lice are removed will take substantially more time than a professional treatment. Treatment will be complete 10 days after the first application of Oil Treatment.
